Jahajee Sisters is a gender justice organization that activates Indo-Caribbeans in New York to put an end to intimate partner, family, and sexual violence. Our community of support guides women, girls, and gender expansive people to heal and create lasting change.
“ We seek to unify and advance Indo-Caribbean and South Asian interests by fostering joint and collaborative actions among different peoples, organizations and businesses in New York City. We empower our community by providing programs and services, creating cultural and education resources, and connecting our residents to government. ICA serves as a welcome center for established and newly-arriving residents from Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and Suriname. We have been based in Richmond Hill, New York since 2008.”
The Caribbean Equality Project (CEP) is a community-based organization that empowers, advocates for, and represents Afro and Indo-Caribbean, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender non-conforming, and queer Caribbean immigrants in New York City. Through public education, community organizing, civic engagement, storytelling, and cultural and social programming, the organization's work focuses on advocacy for LGBTQ+ and immigrant rights, gender equity, racial justice, immigration, and mental health services, and ending hate violence in the Caribbean diaspora.
The Indo-Caribbean Canadian Association ("ICCA") is an incorporated not-for-profit organization in Canada. The organization was launched on May 1st 2020, aligned with the annual South Asian Heritage Month in Ontario and Asian Heritage Month in Canada.

Discover, educate, and amplify Indo-Caribbean culture and heritage
Identify and connect within the Indo-Caribbean Canadian community
Showcase and amplify Indo-Caribbean Canadian talent, professionals, and community success
Seek opportunities to engage and work with aligned organizations to enhance the service ecosystem for the community
Hindostanian & Queer a platform on which the Surinamese-Hindostanian queer community is given a face. Queer includes the letters LGBTIQAP+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, asexual, pansexual), but also people who do not want to put themselves in a box.
